Hey guys and gal,
Just was wondering about areas of moderation...
You guys have been doing a great job in the chat and tech sections... but is anyone monitoring the "For sale" area? Some of the posts are a little brutal... just FYI, it's gettin kinda mean in a few of the threads over there

I just saw the nismo mount thread, that I think you are talking about.
Both of you have good points and all, but what can a mod really do? If they locked the thread, people would bitch about cutting off their sale. I just think that people should
a) read more throughly
b) not jump all over their potential "clients" (That was bad business manner. I won't buy anything from him.)
and (for you)
c) Don't barge into a post and tell people how to act, and then after getting flamed, post this post.
I find fault in all parties in that post... but really... what can a mod do? Edit their words or something... but that would be a task, as people would repost.

actually i was referring to another post when I put this up... I'd like to think I'm not childish enough to go running to mommy when I get flamed about something, we're all adults (well mostly). I had just noticed that has some of hte arguement that had gone on in there been in chat or elsewhere, arguement participants would have been told to cool down or the thread would be locked if it was severe enough.
Maybe my timing was bad in my postings, and you're right, I'm just as at fault as everyone else if at ANY time I get myself involved in a pointless arguement BUT, after the fact, I noticed that the for sale area was not (or at least that's how it seems) as watched over, that's the only point I was trying to get across.
