alright..... if i drove FWD, i could throw on the ol' e-brake, punch the gas, spin like a champ, and not move. How do accomplish this amazing feat in RWD??? e-brake locks up the rear wheels right? I always just drive around the burnout box at the track cuz I got no clue how to do it.

That's not a racing question. . . That's a doing donuts question
With rwd, it's mainly turn the wheels and punch the gas. RWD handles much differently from a FWD car, the only way to figure it out is to do it (in a safe manner, that is). All in all, when it comes to tricks like that, they're easier and more effective in a rear wheel drive car.
It's quite simple, actually... in first gear, keep the clutch in (at a stop) ... rev to your desired RPM (usually around 4-6) and drop the clutch. If you have power, you'll just spin the tires, and shouldn't go anywhere (or not too far)... if you don't have enough hp, you'll just stall. haha... that'd be embarrassing.

Once you drop the clutch, hit the brake pedal with your left foot, and keeping pressing the throttle down. The power being delivered will overcome the brakes in the rear allowing you to burn em up all f-ing night. There is a brake fluid cutter (don't remember the name) that will cut power to your rear brakes to allow you to burnout as long as you want (or untill you run out of tires). Personally, I just light em up a little and by the second to third run, they are at right tempature for my launches.
u can brake after u drop the clutch.....
dont cut the front wheel and drop the clutch cuz there might be a problem with hitting the wall.....

yes, misnomer misunderstood the question..
You can get "Line-lock" which is what Tyler was talking about, or you can do it the way I do..
Hold down the brake and clutch at the same time (once your wheels are in the box) rev the engine with your heel on the gas, still putting a lot of pressure on the brakes.. Slowly let out of the clutch until the rear wheels start breaking loose, then release the clutch the rest of the way.. continue you giving it gas.. at this point you could swap your feet out so your left foot is on the brake, and your right foot is WOT in the gas... If your getting a peg leg spin you, can put a little additional pressure on the Differential by pulling up on the emergency brake a little until they both brake loose. then let off the e-brake. (don't ever lock the e-brake.)
Finally let off and remove yourself from the giant cloud of smoke you just created.
Prcatice this somewhere besides the Burnout box to make sure you understand.

Yea, the worst thing to see at the track is someone go sideways in the box and hit the wall when he lets off the gas, and gets traction. LOL!
