AIV plug stripped

I just got my motor about 2 days ago and as a came upon removing the aiv plug it of course seems rusted shut and already stripped and suggestions on getting this plug out?:bash:

plug it or retap it

re-tapping cast iron is a little difficult.

you may need to weld it shut.

Cut the pipe off flush, then use a socket on it. If that doesn't work, grip it with vice grips, heat it, and break it loose.

weld it shut. its like a 3 minute job. cerially

Welding it shut sounds like your best option here.

yeah weld it... Either be ghetto and put a nickel in and weld it or find a way to break it loose, usually lots of heat works
