i've got a 1000w kenwood amp running two alpine 12" E-types...

here's the stats...
RMS Power Output (Watts x Channels) 150 x 2
Frequency Response 20-20k Hz
THD at Rated RMS Power 0.08%
Signal to Noise Ratio 100 dB
Input Voltage 14.4v
Peak Power Output (Watts x Channels) 300 x 2
Power at 2 Ohms (Watts x Channels) 230 x 2
Bridged Power (Watts x Channels) 460 x 1
Minimum Impedance Bridged 4
Minimum Impedance Unbridged 2

i've got it bridged, so that means i'm running 460 watts max, right? why the hell does it say 1000 watts? lying bastards...

Personay I ould just get n optima battery if power is a problem. If that is not good enough then get a 1 farad cap it is lil more but at least you wont have to worry forawhle.I have two 10" Ma Audio Subs Xe Series and they are 600watts each but only allowing 400 to goto each on.I have a 800 watt amp.I have alot of light dim at times especialy my cd player led/screen.But oh well.

The way I was taught, was basically 1farad cap for 1000watts. I'd say go upto a 1.5f cap.
