Search man, there was a thread about the quality of their stuff. Most of there stuff is pretty good from what I remember.

Rod ends are questionable on their adjustable arms.

They're an East Asian OE-manufacturer.

Just from the look of them, their 5-lugs look decent... very similar to Peak in appearance.

I have the circuit sports Strut bars. Only complaints is the shitty bolts that come with them.

We need a thread on here saying what manufacturers are made by who.

It gets confusing.

I personally don't have the knowledge to do it.

Just like a lot of other manufacturers that are at the same level of quality as Circuit Sports is all made in Taiwan. Some may be made in China. I was in Taiwan this summer and went to alot of the super autobacs type stores and bought alot of things. One thing I bought was some exhaust hangers. I saw them and they are the exact same thing as the circuit sports ones. Only difference is I spent 10 dollars for a pack of 3 and the Circuit Sports ones are 25 dollars for a pack of 3. So I suspect that they buy, repack, and then mark the price up on some of their parts.

Not to say that just because they are made in Taiwan that the parts are junk. They definately are not the same quality as parts made in the USA or Japan. But I would be confident to say that circuit sports is one of the more quality manufacturers next to others like megan racing and other ebay junk.

of course the price of taiwan parts in taiwan is cheaper than taiwan parts in the us

I'd say it falls into the same catagory as megan, just with a cooler name and badging. With exception of cs downpipe 02 elim, aluminum reserviour and a few other things. I know a few people that do similar things, find a contact in HK or china, give them the parts...they replicate. Kinda like designer handbags.

Anyone use the integrated turbo elbow\downpipe. Ive never seen a piece like it, and I like the fact that it is oval at the bottom. You should see my downpipe, its flat from hitting speed bumps and the like.

CS is based in socal and is closely affiliated with Phase2. I forgot the history behind them, but their parts seem very decent. I have the exhaust and the quality is not what you would expect for the price. IMO, the material, welds, fitment, etc. leave nothing more to be satisfied.

you guys realize that 90% of "parts companys" will have a large percentage of things not made in house. I mean really, besides being able to name drop Junyan or Komatsu or something at a Nissan meet why do you care?

If its good its good.

the CS stuff I've gotten is fair enough.

Yeah, they aren't the same, but Phase 2 is their main distributor

I have the CS oil block adapter

Worked fine for me

And was cheaper and easier to get than other alternatives

I have....
the quick release
front and rear strut tower bars
coolant reservoir
cat back
ss clutch line

i like circuit sports, and i think their quality is great for the price. although i dont really have any "important" parts, like arms and such.

its better than megan stuff i have to say.

I have the integrated Turbo Elbow/Down Pipe and the Cat-Back Exhaust. Both pieces are great. Super quiet and imo good quality. There are some other companies that make the integrated TE DP (MF-R, HPI [JDM]) I plan on getting their full suspension arm setup. Looks good to me and I can't complain as far as what I have. I have some friends that have the strut tower bars aswell as the trunk bar. Good to go.

I have the CS overflow tank, bottom mount turbo lines and exhaust hangers. No problems with any of them. Good products and good prices.

Alex at Phase 2 is great to deal with as well.

I've always been interested in their cast turbo outlet. If/when the megan outlet breaks, I'll probably pick up the CS piece.

circuit sports was started by a friend of mine named mike, he is very experienced in the automotive industry and originally was involved in importing exotic cars and parts into taiwan in the late 90's and has a passion for light weight cars like the elise and miata.

I assume by looking at the product that circuit sports product is sourced from various suppliers in east asia, most likely taiwan and china...as common with most parts only manufactures practices, including various certain japanese brands.

As for product it doesn't really matter where its made as long as the company and distributor (phase2) stand by the product, which from what i've observed they've always done.

Its good low-mid range stuff for arms/ rods, shifters, and hubs. I'd use it personally if i was to build another 240sx again.

Very Fine rear fender flow you've got there in the rear of that 13 Heartbreaker.

I would compare Circuit sports with Sam's C-Tune's RUCA, The price/quality is similar as well as availability due to locations. Both very cool salesman, and enthusiasts, If your arm breaks boy, I'm sure daddy will look at it for you".

_you can also look into them with Battle Version Series RUCA.
Both Sam, and Harold of phase2 are resourceful individuals, that maintain a fair inventory of qualitative parts.

Has anyone seen Sam's JIC seated 14?

I currently have there cast turbo elbow, cat back, intake manifold gasket, and there pulley kit, exhaust hangers, sub frame bushings, hood Dampeners, overflow tank, front and rear 5 lug conversion hubs, steering bushing and inner and outer tie rods, I am probly gonna junk my rear powertrix control arm in favor of the C.S rears...OH YA TO THOSE KNOCKING ON CHINA AND TAIWAN..MY GIRLFRIEND IS CHINESE MADE AND SHE'S MADE MIGHTY FINE!!!!!!!!LOL

haha i along with driftage...purchase many things from phase2 and have the pleasure of knowing the sales reps personally to a small extent. i have also met mike...the owner of CS and use his exhaust, hangers, quick release, and RUCA's...those of u comparing them to megan just because of the price...thats not really a good comparison...run both arms then compare them...ive already bought my whole suspension setup from megan and personally i wouldnt buy them again...my megan RUCAs are already bent to shit and their tie rod ends totally suck...CS on the other hand has been good to me for a damn long time yes they havent been in the market very long but long enough for me to compare to others

BUY CIRCUIT SPORTS PARTS!!!!!!!!! haha

battle version parts are well beyond the quality of CS suspension pieces. I picked up the coolant piece last week at option imports since phase2 was outta stock. I'm looking into the CS cobra downpipe. nice to see a readily available piece that d-max and hpi regularly have available overseas. The sheer fact that CS answered a common problem with s13 owners and the coolant resevoir situation is ingenious. I'm considering getting the strut/trunk bars as well. i wonder if a difference will be noticed by them.

Argh...

All you guys knocking Chinese knock off parts.

You do realize that if you peeled back all the veils and company names and all that, you'd find a few people responsible for copying/knocking off of the parts, then the factory that makes these parts, make it to their specs, right?

There are some amazing quality stuff that come out of China, but the saying "you gotta pay to play" rings true over there too, so when you have a guy paying for the knock off parts, he wants it made as cheap as possible, then sell it for as much as he can, to maximize his profits.

So, really, the guy that's responsible for copying these parts then submitting the blueprints to the factory that makes all these copied parts, is the guy to blame. Nothing to do with the fact that "if it's Chinese it's crap".

I just think it's absurd to call a country and anything and everything that comes out of it, crap, due to ignorant asses spewing raw sewage from their mouths, or in this case, raw sewage typed out by people's fingers.

That's like saying America is crap because their cars fall apart in no time and are of generally a lesser build quality than some imported cars.

definitely +1 for alex and battle version, the battle version components are top notch and i'd use them as well. Actually i'd prefer them over CS, much stronger rod ends and chrome moly. Good stuff and alex is very good at setting up alignments.

I know this is a 2 yr old post... but yea, most china crap is CRAP indeed... Just ask home owners in FL that can't live [at] home b/c of "Made i CHINA" drywall. It causes nose bleeds, and kills babys. Google it.

BTW...^^this guy is Chinese.
