You are correct it only came with a journal bearing T28 which is bigger in specs than the S14/S15 ball bearing turbo mainly do in part to its turbine side.

I guess i was wrong about the BB part. I thought they were.

I swaped one of these into a B13, and it is a STRONG Motor. You can run it on 91 octane. Are you still top mount intercooler?

A couple tricks are to put washers and longer bolts through the top mount I/C to space it away from the head, You pick up some power doing that.

Also, a turbo forward intake does wonders. The intake inlet for the turbo is RESTRICTIVE @ 44mms' to fit WRC regulation. So those two mods are supposed to pickup power.

After that its all about a bigger radiator, and an oil cooler, because it runs really really hot in FWD/AWD config, with the turbo up against the radiator.

Sunnys are really cool cars. I'd love to pick one up some day. Whenever I go to Rally Great Britain there are tons of modded ones flying around to watch the stages. I have a bunch of videos from the 92-94 british rally championship with David Llewellen and Alister Mcrae driving. Also Tommi Makinen had his first factory ride with Nissan and the Sunny. Its so short for a 4wd! The F2 FWD normally aspirated Sunny Gti was more successful than the GTiR in the British Championship mainly due to less weight, almost the same power and mostly tarmac events. The sound from the Group A GtiRs is awesome though. There are some scanned pages from a rally book I have here at the shop.

My Buddy had one in Oki bad ass car but a bitch to work on -o- we dropped the engine to change the clutch and installed a TD06 20G Turbo on it, a fuckin night mare if you dont take pics and label the connections,
My other buddy's we dropped in a T-67 with A Wolf 3D Stand alone and 1000cc Injectors with a front mount, Reinforeced Transmission,and twin Plate OS Giken. But for stock there Beasts, I'll post some pics of my buddies when I get off work.
