What are you trying to paint that color?
Some paint supply places can color-match (or at least as close as they can get) if you have a picture or a swatch of a color... For enough to do, say a whole car, I would imagine it costing an arm and a testicle though.
A friend of mine has a 73 impala that is very similar to that color, I know he is not going to drive it today, I can swing by his house and protograph it, and get the code from him later if you like.

Yes it would be nice! Thank you! I'm want to paint or probably powdercoat my Gram Lights 57s.. I don't know what will look better... I think powdercoating... I want a more metalic look than the TE37

It's from "BITING" on an original style from a company. If you want green wheels, then pick a green color. Painting wheels "Takata Green" instead of buying the actual wheels is lame and fanboy-ish. Pick your own color, don't bite their style.

theres a color code? i know Work will paint/coat their wheels to your liking with whatever color paint; just have to provide them with a sample color, if you wanna chance it, just say, hey paint it, green, red, white, blue, black, gray, etc and see what they pick for you. it'll be a nice surprise lol. im assuming its the same for volk as well.

Great Color option.
Bite'er.. .. or Not, Most can't afford, or get the P/C hookup @ $620 a wheel (TE37, Green), so why not color the wheels HIS/HER desired color. .. .for $400 P/C !?!?!?!?

actually when these wheels were trying to be sold a few months back right here on zilvia the most talked about thing was not the size of the wheels, what they would fit, or even the asking price.. the whole thread was about the takata green color, what the paint code was and yes they were even being called takata green by somebody who wanted to paint thiers the same just like you. so in actuality, your thread is pointless, useless and has been covered before. :newbie:

I mean really, is it necessary to continue this bullshit? If you have nothing to offer to the discussion at hand, keep clicking on threads until you find one you can actually add something to.

Just paint match it. You like the same green as the Takata edition TEs, great. I pity the foo who is such a fanboy they actually go find paint called Takata Green with the same paint code as whatever Volk used.

You have made two posts concerning the subject of this thread and in neither of your posts did you answer the question. :mrmeph:
Why don't you work on your post count and usefulness as there are plenty of people here already saying "search" or "biter" or pretty much everything you had to add to this post which was nothing. You're wasting bandwidth dude.
For the most part I would go with what Duffman says, I'm sure it's been brought up to death on honda-tech and other sites as well on the jdmwagon.
If the man wants green wheels, then so be it, let him have his green wheels.

the green i chose was easy to find. its really bright in those pictures but its not THAT bad. none the less its bright as fuck. i could like it better so i plan on going to the local paint autopaint supply, looking at a book, and picking my own green. again. and then redo my wheels, the cage will match the wheels and the cage doesnt exist yet so i have time. i still love it though. when people see it in person they always think its too bright but everyone seems to get used to it and love it. to each his own. me doing takata green would be far from original. this? getting closer.
