Well, for anyone who was wondering. For the S14, if your wheel bearing goes out, yes, you do have to replace the entire hub assembly. I just got mine done today at the dealership and overall, it cost me $270 It's worth it though since it was so loud that it would drown out the radio going in a straigt line on the freeway (I waited a little to long to get it done). Fortunately, while at the dealership, I talked them into checking my window motor and doing a compression test for free, not to mention the free 100 point inspection at the same time. The best part of the whole thing though, was that I got to take an SE-R spec V out for a test drive. I think the salesman went home to change his underwear when we were done, but I explained to him that if I was to buy the car, it would be for it's good handling, therefor I needed to know it's limits . Anyway, very nice car, pretty quick, front wheel drive Why do they have to ruin a perfectly good car?

for a FWD car, it kicks ass. I'd take it over an s2000 anyday. I was looking at those bearings today, don't look to hard to replace w/o buying new hubs. But shiny hubs look nice too.

Dunno if they sell the individual S14 bearings w/o the brand new hub? Anyone?

No, they don't sell the bearing without the hub, that's what sucks.

Gabossie, I like your sig. LOL! Yeah, my dad ran into the hub/bearing assembly problem. They're a fixed unit on 94 Dodge Rams (Cummins diesel) He managed to get the bearing out, and then found out the thing is SUPPOSED to be a whole piece. Expensive lesson.
