Sounds about right if they are goning to do an alignment after the install.

It will take 3 hours maximum without a lift and alignment. Do yourself a favor and buy some tools with that money and install the stuff yourself. Go to firestone, NTB, or a cool local shop and get an alignment.
Learning new things is good. Plus you will get to see the rust on your car. 350 isn't a bad price I guess. I only pay for parts.

Spend $150 at Sears on Craftsman tools that you'll use until they're broken/lost, $100 for an alignment, and save that last $100 in your bank account for retirement.

Or just turn that $100 bill into 100 $1 bills, and make a stripper's day.

buy $350 worth of tools and you'll have that done in a few hours.
3 max, even with no prior knowledge.
then take it to a shop to get it aligned.
just make sure you keep the arms the same length as stock, and tell the shop how to align it.
its very easy to put on arms too.

I just replaced the same exact parts on my s13. It cost me just over $50 for the parts and putting them on was easy. Find the parts at a pull-a-part and then get an alignment separate, it will be way cheaper.

no better way to learn than to slide under there and do it yourself. Like everyone else said. Plus you'll save some money that way.

Like he said. Except spend a little more than 150 on Craftsman tools, that way if they do break you can take them back and get new ones for free :rawk:

Install your own parts.

it is only 12 bolts total. you will need a jack, jack stands, a breaker bar, adjustable wrench, and a decent socket set. That is at the most 100.
it is as simple as:
1. position jack/ loosen lug nuts
2. jack up car/ remove tire
3. pick a bolt, most likely the front ruca bolt, and start.
4. adjust the new part to match factory length for now/install
5. put tire back on.
6. go get an alignment.
being honest it shouldn't take more than a few hours. * The only thing that you need to watch out for is the eccentric bolt holding the ruca in the back. Make sure you hold the head of the bolt and loosen the nut. The bolt is grooved and the washer has a notch, so if you spin the head of the bolt it will damage the thread. but even so that bolt doesn't damage so easily. I know because I did it the wrong way at first and still was able to reuse the bolt.
the only excuse for not doing this your self is having no arms, because I really thing that I could do this blind folded.
jk go for it man. do it yourself.

try driving the car after you put all the rucas , traction and toe rods without an alignment it feels like your driving the loaner car from that movie the mask. And to do all this stuff yourself is easy. dont pay anyone its like paying for an oil change
