s13 trans with s14 motor???

Would ne body know if a s13 trans from a 91 240sx that is from a dohc well work on a 97 motor that is a dohc. Would it just bolt right on or no???? I need help

not sure about the wiring though
might have to cut a splice a bit. nothing crazy though.

wiring is different
obd2 has CAS on the bellhousing, you will get a CEL if you have a 97 obd2 s14 and want to try the s13 tranny
it does bolt right up though.
VSS is different as some other minor things but if you just want a working tranny in the car to go drive the piss out of it then yeah go for it.

Are you putting a S14 motor in your S13 or a S13 tranny in your S14?

:werd: I ran into this I swapped an S13 trans to my KA and ended up having to swap the gearsets from the s13 tranny into my s14 bellhousing because of the sensor.

it works. you just have to mount a CAS so it reads the flywheel.
