Just an Idea, I know we have drag strips, and of course public places as well (malls, parks, etc.) to meet, I just found a cool looking place. Gforce Karts (http://www.gforcekarts.com)

When I went to the "F1 Boston (http://24.60.241.1/240sxonef1/)" meet, we had a indoor track full of 240sx owners racing carts wheel to wheel. It was very competitive and an absolute blast. I think this would be a real fun thing for us to try out as part of a future VA region meet.

There's a place near Dulles Towne Center like this.... they charge like 20 bucks for a 10 min race around an indoor course although this place gives you three runs for 48 bucks. Its pretty cool the karts reach like 45 mph on the staightaway and the corners/hairpin its all about skill.

hmmm a meet there seems like a neat idea. I'd like to see if one of us 240 people can beat the track time.

any word on a deal to rent out the place? It does seem like it would be a pretty large sum of money considering its about 20 bucks a person per race for only a 10 min race. i think with a membership you get like 3 for 50 or something...

i dunno maybe with a 5 inch muffler, an APC sticker and a wing twice the size of the cart we could do it.......... but really a 50 lbs kid... dammit! I wouldn'tthink the best time was by a kid that drives power wheels for a living. Is the best time still 21 seconds.... I think thats what it was the last time i checked it.....

the grand prix I went to in Myrtle beach actually weighed people and adjusted their cars power to the weight of the driver so that every racer was equal in power to weight. If they do the same it doesn't matter how big you are.. unless your small and steal a big persons ID card.

I went to (Mario) Andretti Speed World last time in atlanta and drove the carts around an indoor track....A BLAST.

This would be a good time to first meet, then go to race the carts together!

I'm in if at all possible!
