Sounds like a massive boost leak
Check all your connections

muwhahahhahah :D
so you've check all your intercooler piping and the couplers are good? check and see if your wastegate is closed or stuck open.
as far as your no start after warmed up, you can try changing your coolant temp sensor, it's the same as a 91-94 sentra ser (sr20de $19)
so you can rev it to 7,000 rpm and you don't get any boost? can you hear the blow off valve doing anything? maybe the guage is fubar....
need more info

if it won't go passed ~3k rpm it's a maf issue. if it doesn't really matter how much rpm but just as soon as it starts to boost it runs all crappy, bucks, and surges and stuff, that's a boost leak, there's an intercooler coupler or clamp that's not tight.
i need more info, like why can't you rev it to 7,000rpm?

5000 rpm's is the highest i can go and it pops when i go that high in rpm's
it also seems like its a lot of strain on the motor at that rpmsif it won't go passed ~3k rpm it's a maf issue. if it doesn't really matter how much rpm but just as soon as it starts to boost it runs all crappy, bucks, and surges and stuff, that's a boost leak, there's an intercooler coupler or clamp that's not tight.

I have to agree, also if its poping and struggling at 5000rms it could need a timing adjustment. have you checked the timing? an sr should go to 7000 flawlessly.

ya, i brought up plugs because incorrect plug and especially too wide a gap will make it break up at higher rpms.

im not an sr expert, is it normal to use a KA-E mafs with SR's? I couldn't imagine the voltages to read the same.

check timing and swap mafs. could be the reason why you cant go past 5k rpm
