yes sir. i originally bought it for 400 and i planned to throw in a sr20det. who knew? haha. it came with tokico gas shocks + tein springs. oh and a apexi dual N1 exhaust which has damage but can be salvaged.

Why would you take off those badass side skirts? lol. :bowrofl: Goodluck with the build though. Hey I have tokico blues and teins too. Never used them though.

Hahaha that picture with the seat out reminded me of the time I removed the seat for some reason and tried to drive the car across the street and back into my drive way in between 2 other cars, all while sitting on my leg.
I can't for the life of me remember why I had the seat out.. But yeah, it's a manual so that was very difficult.
Good luck with the shell!

i was waiting on a motor that i already SHOULD of had coming so i decides 2 prep the shell and wait. i removed the sound deadener which was fairly easy, but time consuming. id say it took like 3 HOT hours. i used the flathead + hammer method since it mostly came out in pig chunks.

http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y21/csalgangsta/IMG_7858.jpg
and then i decided to paint tha rear interior a charcoal grey using the rattle can method. i also tucked the interior harness around the wheel wells interior to give it more of a clean look. WHERE'd MY WIRES GO? haha

hey its a start though, 400 isnt bad. just stick to it and dont make it another one of those unfinished projects out there and let another s-chassis go to waste! pick up a red top, some coil overs, gut it out prime it and go drift itt

I'm always shocked at how clean the results are for people who flathead+hammer. Makes me want to do it to mine >.>

when you use the flathead+hammer method its all about the angle of the flathead. 140 degrees plus. o yea and sand everythang after that. till u can feel the adhesive/tar BS

I've found that if you let the sound deadener sit in a puddle of gasoline for about 20 years, it is much easier to pull it off. Well, at least thats the way it was on my 510. I peeled it right off. lol
Looks like its coming along rather nicely. I'm glad that part of my car will be living on yours...

Keep up the good work. O my neighbor removed his sound dampener with some dry ice. You leave the stuff on there for a little while, and it comes of real easy.

There's an easier way to remove the N.V.H. materials from the floor. I removed all that material all the way to the firewall on my s13 (93 240sx 2dr coupe). Use DRY ICE, no elbow grease required just a broom and pan...that easy:)

http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y21/csalgangsta/IMG_7886-1.jpg

now my thread is catchin up to where im at on the project.
i bought a parts car. a 89 fastback. i got manual doors, holeless hatch, the elusive radio trim haha, 5speed parts (clutch + brake pedal assembly +MC, fresh undamaged rear bumper, uncracked taillights, wheel wells, and a new donut 2 replace my flat.
i sanded and primered pretty much the whole body other than the room and the driver side door (which ima get 2 do 2morrow). heres a pic of the fresh booty
http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y21/csalgangsta/100_0744.jpg
o yea n i got 1 of these. sr20de out of a jdm 94 Q's silvia. i kno. should of went turbo. but i got it from some1 that owed me money. im in process of gettin this compression tested to see how healthy it is. im waiting 2 find a starter and belts.

turbo or not to turbo that is the question
im tryin so hard 2 not go turbo. N/A would be the business. im in between jobs so right now i just need 2 get it running. but when $$$$$ comes in. im 75% sure ima go ITBs. im in talks of a guy that custom mounts 4age 20v ITBs onto a SR so im trying to get an estimate on parts + labor. THE WORLD IS AT MY FINGERTIPS haha:bigok:

i really want to see the sr20de ITB thing happen. i was going to do carbs on my ka24e until i found out it was going to cost about 2k for just the intake manifold.
DO IT.

yea that 2k shit is crazy huh. for the ballers i guess... but u know u can mod streetbike TBs for your KA intake? i forgot which bike but i think it was a CBR1k. could end up costing 400-500$ for everything including fabrication. check into it

i think that mod only works "well" on the dual cam KA's intake manifold. its a bit more complicated on the single cam because the design is more retarded.

since i dont have money to buy a sr tranny and clutch+ flywheel i can work on the FREE stuff. ok i installed the clutch assembly + 5speed brake pedal. i plan to buy a new ss clutchline that goes to the slave cylinder and bypasses the dampner.

and i removed the whole HVAC system (heating, vents and AC) -30lbs fairly easy work since my dash was already removed. and then i just slid the parts out 1 by 1 after unbolting.

so i started the SR rebuild. i took off the intake and cleaned it inside and out. the throttle body was crusty so i polished it. Removed any debris and high temp painted the whole intake + fuel rail.
http://i2.photobucket.com/albums/y21/csalgangsta/100_0967.jpg
i wire wheeled the whole block and painted the valve cover.
