so im working on getting everything needed to get the aem installed and tuned, and i want to have it control the n2o, and also the cooling fan, but im not exactly sure how to do it without damaging the computer.

what im thinking is getting a painless wiring relay kit for each, and the ecu controls the control side of the relay. this will work, but im not sure if it has a chance of damaging the computer.

just wondering if anyone has done this with aem, or any other ems out there.

just wire the computer as the primary side and the switched B+ to the solenoids as the secondary side. In other words wire a relay which will be turned on and off from the low current computer side. Then wire your ignition controlled, fused power to your solenoids.
