i was wondering if this modification is really worth the money. Here's a link, has anyone tried this item out? How good does it actually work?

I pretty sure its a waste of money and I think what it does is fool your engine to run rich or something. not sure though. You could do something like this with basic tools and a timing light.

this "kit" is simply a 10k resistor that you plug into your Intake Air Temperature plug so that your engine thinks that it is getting super cold air all the time. When you engine thinks this, it advances your timing x amount of degrees. I don't know how well it work. I would just save your money and go to Radio-Shack, spend $.99 and get three 10KOhm resistors. hell, for a dollar you can't really go wrong.
