not just the handle, but the whole setup. NOT hydraulic, but one that will replace the stock setup. anywhere sell them?

check ebay, they sell covers you can get carbon fiber if thats what you want.

lmao dont think aftermarket ebrakes exist.. just hydrolic. would be a waste of money for aftermarket companies to develop a parking brake.

that could be it... but mostly they do use a hydraulic setup with their own fabricated handles made of either aluminum or steel

Wilwood makes billet calipers that can be used as an e-brake caliper. However you would need to make custom brackets for them.

Just chill out!!!!

Stop "freaking" out in the cockpit and cranking that thing. Take it slow, and just pull as much as you need.:cj::ghey:

use your clutch

why u need a aftermarket ebrake? No one said you cant be ghetto and just weld a pipe to the top of the ebrake and remove the locking mechnism.

Go with the hydrolic setup, you can do it for around $100

People who upgrade to STi calipers in the rear, depending on whether they want to stick with Z32 drums or not, need an aftermarket e-brake. I plan on using the Wilwood caliper myself with a cable. Hydraulic seems to be too off/on for me.

Run better rear pads if you're still s13/s14 rear caliper
or run URAS/Porterfield/etc rear ebrake shoes if you're Z32

You're the only person I've ever heard of breaking stock ebrake handles... Take it to a shop and ahve them duplicate it out of steel or aluminum if you want... Or bite the bullet and go hydro!

Yeah, you're over complicating things.

Stock ebrake handle with z32 ebrake drum and project mu pads is all you need.

Personally, I don't like hydraulic due to the fact that there isn't much modulation. It's either on/off.

Mel, you can put a bias valve inline, or a dampener (oem lambo style).

If you are using Sti rear, just go hydralic, you should be using the evo rear disc anyways, not the Z32 disc drum setup.

Its like $100 for the handle brake setup + lines. Don't chicken out of an easy upgrade.
