i ordered a walboro 255 fuel pump and install kit a while back and they sent me a s13 install kit. i heard the problem with the s13 install kit is fuel starvations on a low tank due to a different fuel sock, and to the best of my knowledge they do not make an install kit for the s14. what did you guys with s14's have to do to make this work? i was thinking about using the oem fuel sock but i have yet to check it out. i also have heard that a install kit from a late 90's to 2000 something honda prelude install kit will work for for a s14. any suggestions?

IIRC it uses a sock from a prelude or other car. Search here or FA for the part number.
I used pieces from both the 13 and prelude kit to make it work. NICO has a detailed how to link.

I did it with the prelude kit for my s14. People say you will be fine off the s13 kit itself, but just do not run less than a quarter tank. The biggest problem is that even you use the prelude kit's sock, it is only two-third of the oem sock's length. So I rarely run less than a quarter tank anyways.

You can also buy a new OE sock I believe, and use it. I ordered the Prelude kit when I did mine but forgot to swap it, it's been sitting in the back seat for three years waiting to be installed.

I was wondering the same thing. can't we just use the sock from the S14 stock fuel pump??

I used the prelude kit too. When I pulled out the stock pump, the sock was so nasty, I just want it gone. My S14 is a DD, and I will run it pretty low on fuel (like 14gal) and it is fine. I just try to stay out of boost during that time.
