Before I start, here's my setup. stock SR redtop, FMIC, Blitz BOV and SAFC II. Settings on the SAFC is as follows: hotwire 6in/6out, 4 cylinder with arrow pointing up, dec air function, 1.0%, NE1 1.5, NE2 2.5 with these settings my car runs fine when it's warmed up. AFR at ilde on my wideband is about 14.2-14.8. Everything else on the SAFC is set to zero. I just use it for Dec Air. So, when my car sits for a couple of hours or over night to where the engine has completely cooled, the idle will bounce and the engine will stall. The AFR on wideband is above 16-18 which shows lean condition. But if I turn up NE1 to about 2.0 to 2.5 it will idle fine during cold start. Then when the car is warmed up the I have to adjust NE1 back to 1.5 to make idle around 14.2-14.8. I;ve checked the MAF, ECT, IACV and TPS. The next thing to do was to take the SAFC II out of the loop during cold start. Engine idled fine during cold start without the safc. But as soon as I plug safc back in, it did the same thing. I pulled my harness out the other day and resoldered the wires of the safc but still no luck. I was just wondering if anyone else has this issue with safc.

mine's got same thing...so whenever i cold start the car, i just switch it to the other data file which has nothing changed and when the car is warmed up, change it back

I am going to try and contact APEXi and see if it's just a bad safc. that's the only thing left.
