ok so after doing a bunch a searching to my understanding the ngk bkr6eix are the stock aplication plugs for an sr and the bkr7eix or bkr7eix-11 are just one step colder. correct? the problem is no one explains what plugs you should use for each aplication.

for example what temp plugs should be run with a 2871r at 375 hp? will the bkr7eix's foul? or will they be fine?

and what about for the 450hp range?

i ask b/c my local shop is trying to push some hks racing plugs on me. they're made by either ngk or denso and they have a heat rating of 9? which would make them what 2 step colder then the bkr7eix?

i got this conversion chart from th hks website and it makes no sence to me at all. i almost think that they got the hks and ngk numbers mixed up.
