Bring Captain Eo Back!!!

If you went to Disneyland anytime between 1986-1997 and went to Tomorrowland, then you surely caught the Michael Jackson 3-D movie "Captain EO". This movie kicked so much ass back in the day!!!

Since it's close in April 1997, there has never been a Video/DVD release.

YOU CAN CHANGE THIS!!!

There's a petition to re-release this for both DVD and re-release in IMAX 3-D.
You know this would kick so much ass to see, not to mention the nostalgia it brings from being at Disneyland as a kid.

My theory is, if it worked for Family Guy and Futurama, then surely it can work for Captain EO!! Let's remember Michael Jackson for the icon he used to be, not the freak show he is now.

You can get it on DVD and PSP on Nightmare Before Christmas DVD and UMD. He is remaking it as a stop motion.

I'm saying on film, in the theater. Disney canned him and the movie after he made it. I wasn't till Beetlejuice, Pee Wee's Big Adventure, and Batman came out that it was released to the home market.

They showed it at Walt Disney World during the same time frame, as well. I saw it when I was a kid. Hardly anybody knows what I'm talking about when I mention it though. LOL

DDduuuddddeeee, it was such a joke when i saw it in the 90's. When he comes up, and his first line is, "Lets get em". EVERYONE fell out laughing!!!! it was so retarded.

Captain EO is waaaay better than Honey I Shrunk the Audience. I remember seeing Captain EO way back when. I distinctly remember that the little red thing with wings (Fuzzbucket) flew all around in your face and stuff. I might have a toy of that robot somewhere in my parents' garage.

"Bad" MJ was just before he went downhill. It's like watching "Baby One More Time" Britney compared to today. What a difference.


I also like how the gate closes, goes up, stays up and then is shown going up AGAIN.


I'd vote for bringing back Captain EO any day. And returning Swiss Family Robinson to its non-Tarazan glory.
