I found a web site called ALLIEDCOMPOSITES.COM that sells carbon fiber center consoles, radio/ ac panel, ash tray door, and center arm rest storage door. They make parts for different cars, but for NISSAN they only have parts for the S13. The company is in Canada and i think the shipping is included in the price. They sell separate pieces or packages for good prices. I haven't bought anything yet or contacted them, but it looks good. If anyone has seen them or has products please give me some feedback, I am looking for carbon interior pieces.:wavey:

I was gonna say it looks good, but its all mostly laminated CF onto the core stuff. Its not really fully CF, so its more more for the look then functionality. the center piece stuff look good but thats a lot of money for just interior trim covering. if you get it let me know how u like it, I wouldnt get it just cuz I dont have money to spend on that stuff nor do i really need it. hopefully someone has more info about them for you.

for the price you might as well just get carbon fiber vinyl. it looks nice, but not worth it.

I looked at it again, and they are real carbon laminates formed for the console and arm rest door. If you do vinyl......its cheaper, but VINYL. If someone wanted a full carbon replacement I'm sure its gonna cost a limb or two. If anyone knows of a better or cheaper place, please let me know>:hsdance:

And why do we need a carbon fiber center console? I think from a show car standpoint it's a nifty idea, but I don't see any point in spending that kind of money for something on a daily driven car unless you treat it like gold. It's not going to shave any weight from the chassis and it will eventually end up dirty, scuffed, and covered in spilled coke.

people dont buy carbon trim pieces to shave weight off the car, they buy them to look pretty. duh.

Exactly. Show car = fine. Anything else = will just get scuffed up and dirty.

Well my opinion is....
It's your money, if you really really want it. DO IT.
It wont be us who is wasting their money.
Either full carbon or leave it alone.

Actually, mike stopped making interior pieces to concentrate more on functional race parts.
BUT.
I've been talking to mike for awhile, and convinced him to (yes...that means I did..) produce a very small amount of s13 carbon fiber shift bezels. last time i checked with him, he still had this planned..but I wouldnt PM him with offers just yet, last i knew he hadnt started them yet...and hopefully, he will make them. Just keep an eye out in the group buy section .Estimated price on them is around $175.00

Not very funny considering this is Allied Composites and not kognition, and they dont make those parts anymore.

allied composites is located in my city. its actually just a guy in his parents garage who laminates the cf onto the parts. it appears he does okay, but after reading through this thread (http://forums.beyond.ca/st/130915/cf-laminations-finally-got-my-shit-together/) on the local car forum you can probably make your own decision on them. the only work of his i have seen is the red neon with the cf trunk lid and it looked nice
if you read all the way through you wil see he was once doing good buisness...but now i dont think anyone wants him to work for them. so id say stay away

hey thanks for the heads up man, +rep :) cf wrapping parts is just worthless.. i mean...for interior pieces, i can understand..even if the parts WERE made 100% out of CF..the weight savings would be minimal, so its just for show...thats fine.
but a wrapped fender is just pointless. it adds more weight and causes the body panel to not line up anymore (think door-jams, where it meets the hood, etc.) FAIL.:bash: :hammer: :bash:

Speed Architech is awesome stuff, I personally know the owners, they're good friends of mine, but they don't make any parts for the S-Chassis as of yet.

Oh, also, those eBay link carbon fiber kits are just little pieces that you glue on over the factory stuff to dress up the interior, it's not actual replacement parts.

yes wrapping a fender is quite dumb. i have been considering making my own carbon peices since my friend knows the source where this alliedcomposites guy gets his carbon. Fenders are probably second on the list to a rear diffuser and of course there will be a mould made so a lot of weight is actually removed. but yes all his stuff is for show :ghey: lol

This guy is here Calgary... he does really good work. From carbon fiber fenders, hoods, trunks, to interior pieces, although most of the interioir stuff is just an overlay as he cant make the tabs for the plastic surroundings. His work is top notch, but he takes a VERY long time to do something due to all of the projects he takes on. It took him over a month to reply to my buddies email to him. He says it's best to just go to his shop to talk to him if you want a fast response.

Make your own stuff. Go to tap plastics and buy a yard of carbon fiber, get a can of surfboard resin and some hardener and try it yourself. I'm about to try replacing the piece of fabric on my door panel with carbon.
