Althought they do they help out a bit on tired old bushings, pineapples aren't for 'stiffening', they offset the geometry of the diff and subframe for desired grip conditions - drag, drift, etc - depending on the application.

emphasize more on that conception I am very intrigued with curiousity.

Yes more squat action. If you have wheel hop...these or anything similar to it will help tons :bigok:

can we add that to subframe aluminum bushings?

Yes you can - but only if you're using solid bushings. These will not work with collars. They do not replace the subframe bushings, they sit above or below the bushings depending how you want to tune your setup. See below...

Can not. It's either or.

You're partially right: pineapples work great with SOLID bushings but cannot be used with collars. I have the SPL pineapples on my solid SPL bushings. Taken from http://www.splparts.com/main4/main/default.htm:

SPL subframe spacers

Hard urethane subframe bushing spacers are used to tune anti-squat by rotating the instant center of the rear suspension through rotating the subframe or moving the subframe relative to the center of gravity:

*For maximum squat (eg. drag racing), rotate the instant center down by installing large diameter spacers above front subframe bushings and small diameter spacers below rear subframe bushings.
*For slightly increased squat, lower the instant center by installing spacers above all subframe bushings.
*For slightly increased anti-squat, raise the instant center by installing spacers below all subframe bushings.
*For maximum anti-squat (eg. drift), rotate the instant center up by installing small diameter spacers below front subframe bushing and large diameter spacers above rear subframe bushings.

Note: These spacers cannot be used in conjunction with subframe collars.

Note.. When I installed my subframe & pineapples I noticed that there is no way in hell you can put the smaller pineapples under the front bushings when you use solid bushings. There simply is not enough thread left on the bolt due to the solid bushing heights. The more I thought about this I couldn't see any reason for installing anything under the bushings anyway, so I contacted Kuah... He confirmed that with solid bushings, you do NOT install the pineapples under the bushings. That is only done if you're still rocking rubber bushings (with no collars).

Hope this helps clear it up, GLWS!

I love my pineapples!!! Really good upgrade, and you can really feel the difference in "squat". Plus, its a lot quieter than rigid subframe collars....free bump....

I have a set of Whiteline Pineapples that I got from PDM ages ago - about midway down the page.
Had them on my first 240 in 'overall performance' set up and they were awesome.
