About the car:
This is a truly rare supercar: lightweight and very powerful. Power is smooth and strong, with the 1999 spec turbos running sequentially, set at 12psi lo boost and 15psi hi boost on the GReddy Profec B controller. The turbos run beautifully with the primary turbo hitting full boost at 2700rpm and then switching to the secondary turbo at 4500rpm with both pulling to the 8000 rpm redline.
Chassis has 124xxx miles on it with around 9500 miles on the rebuilt engine and tranny. Transmission shifts smoothly with no grinds and finds each gear. Car starts up every time and does not leak any oil. Thorough maintenance with 20w50 oil every 2000 miles.
Notes:
The A/C needs to be recharged to my knowledge, however it does blow air. There are minor dings from regular use as it being a 15 yr old vehicle. Also it happened to receive a tiny crack in the windshield about 1/4 inch wide by the drivers side, again which is not that noticeable to me. Overall, it is a wonderful vehicle, I hate to let it go. It's one of the cars I have always wanted since I started driving and wish to hold on to it. But recently moved to Las Vegas as well as a newborn child, I find myself trying to act more practically.
