But do any of you know where I could get some stainless steel threaded rod (A.K.A. Allthread) around 1/4" to 7/16" in diameter for cheap? The reason I ask is that I have an HHO generator design I came up with that I want to build... and I wanted to use the stainless steel rods as my anodes and cathodes. Any suggestions?

Check conctruction supply stores in your area, maybe even find a construction site in your area. I used to get shit from the sites all the time when we were rebuilding my Grandmas house, the people just said take it usually unless they were about to use it that day. I ran all new RG-6 and Cat-5e in her house and added a few other goodies as well. :naughty:

construction, plumbing and HVAC supply dealers are the best place to get it. you may even be able to get away with it at home depot but im not positive on that one.

Negatory on the home depot supply. They do not carry it there, therefore they suck.

Muhuhahahaha.... but home depot actually had what I needed!
I didn't get it though.... I'm still looking for a vessel which can be easily converted. I'm thinking an ATV/Motorcycle battery, gutted out would make a fine vessel. Its easy to fill, and has a vent on it already!
