Stock speakers are 4x6

You can buy speaker adapter (cheap) on ebay to fit your 6.5

Don't be surprised if you get some shit for not searching... but seeings how the answer is so simple... s13's have 4 x 6 all around.

not entirely correct. IIRC, hatches have 4x6 all around, coupes have 4x6 in the front, 6.5 in the rear.

you can make the brackets out of 1/4 inch mdf or buy some off of ebay..... make sure you buy the wood ones, the metal and plastic ones tend to resonate you'll loose S.Q.

Yup. And as we all know the gutted, caged, straight piped, clutchpack LSD'd s13 is world renowned for it's SQ. :)

I made my 6.5 adapters from plexi, I have several posts on here about it. searchy search

you can use cheap kitchen cutting boards too and make them out of that, its better than the abs ones on ebay and if you use mdf make sure to seal or paint them so they don't soak up moisture.

IIRC the ones are ebay are PVC and a lot stronger than ABS

I remember hearing someone using card board... lol

Don't use plexi unless its a decent thickness. And FYI those eBay adapters are for 6.75" speakers. Trust me.

Kappas are good... But any component system is going to be decent. Check out crutchfield or partsexpress, etc..

I have some older 6.5" Infinity kappa components in the front. Very good speakers.
