SR hydrolic lifters will they fitt up by themselves or do you have to bleed them??

u need to bleed them
just put it in a cup of oil and pump

yeah you need to put them in a cup of oil.

try to find a container thats not too much bigger than the lifter itself. this will help steady it while you poke it with a pick or something to bleed it.

do it until there are no more bubbles, and dont take it out of the oil until your just about to put them in the head.
