Yeah, Ive already talked to Dan at Dmax.
As far as pay to play........... I just paid $300 for "in box NOS" upper and lower taillights for my 62Caddy.
That was worth it!

just get you some clay or foam and make a mold. produce your own and make some monies. whole project would cost MAYBE $50.

dmax is the only roof wing id buy
the dmax looks to run completely flat with the roof line
not flare up at the back like the origin does

Definitely the Dmax has the right look........... I couldnt agree more with you guys.
But it seems Id have to order it from Japan and the shipping would double the price.
I was hoping to find one here in the states.
.................. oh and thanks for clearing up the name of it. :eek3:
I left my bodykit lingo handbook at JDM school.
Although................. similar items from the 1940's were called "visors".

And?
If you really want it, you will pay for it.
If price is an issues, you can't afford it.
I can't afford alot of things, which is why I stay within my financial means.
If it is outside of your financial means, and you really want it...
SAVE!

I love how the money issues thrown around!
Now Im no millionare, but I'll drop coin on cars as long as it seems fitting.
As stated above, I just spent $300 on a set of taillights for my '62Caddy.
In my eyes........ worth it, maybe not in others and I respect that.
$5,000 in rims and tires for my $30,000 truck.
I see that as justifiable, where as I wouldnt spend over $1,500 for rims and tires for my S13.
For those that would, more power to them if its gonna make them happy.
But no matter what part, for whatever car Im looking to buy, Im in no hurry to just throw money around when a better deal may be out there.
The difference between "want" and "need".
So please, if you have no credible input, go waste space on someone elses thread................ or maybe a hobby instead of staring at the computer sreen all day thinking of "tough guy" things type!
