The guy who owned the car befor me just cut all the wires instead of using the adapter and now I have to rewire the original connectors. Problem is the wires don't all match up (color-wise) and I've got 2 continuously hot wires as well as 3 wires that are only hot when the headlights are on. I'm usually prety good with this sort of thing but when I don't know what does what it's alot tougher. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks HKrpS13. It does seem that I have extra wires and I'm not sure why but that may help. I'll see when I get home. If anyone has anything to add or throw in, please do so.

How similar is the wiring on the Z32 to the S13? I may be able use my Z as a cheat sheet but I don't want to pullit apart if I don't have to.

dude just run all new wires to all of the speaker and run all new power wires if the harness is cut. Thats what i did cause i had problems after i tried to do what ur doing. The factory wires are too thin and will distort alot and make ur stero sound like crap
