From the pictures it looks like its where they jacked the car up. I dont mean that literally. Driving it how does it feel?

are you gonna drift??
cause you'll be doing board slides and 50/50 grinds on that part of the frame anyways ;)

It looks like it will be ok. hows it drive?? and those replacement pieces surprisingly arent that much if it needed fixed. just dont have the link, sorry.

it pulls slightly to the right partly because I need to get an alignment.

edit: when I say track car I don't mean drift mean grip

so lets say you wanted this car to be a track beast one day is it worth keeping and getting it to that track beast or bad enough that you shouldn't build of of this car?

its actually the perfect candidate for the track due the fact that its not 100% perfect. 100% perfect cars should be kept on the street. The track beats the shit out of a chassis whether its drift or Grip. Build that baby and get on with your game.

If you're really concerned, cut it out and re-box that area of the frame.

You should be fine for now though.

My is the same if not worse... I was a big noob to cars when I first got my S14. My drive fine and drift just fine.

But I have no idea if it's good or not..

Don't worry about it.

Many cars have that part bent in because people don't know about jack points when then lift/hold a car.

Anyways, jdm cars don't even have frame rails.

its fine.. but i would want to replace mine. kuz it lookz pretty link please!!!!

where can you get this part new?

I'll throw in my 50cents (up from 2cents cuz of inflation). My s13 had that. I cut the section out and welded new metal in because I'm anal. I couldn't stand looking at it every time I crawled under the car. Honestly though I prolly could have left it. It wasn't rusting and the car drove straight as an arrow. Meh

I've seen much worse on better cars. The frame rails in most sections are single layer and do very little for support. Being bent doesn't change anything.

I'll probably end up doing this later glad it's somewhat of an easy fix
