Check engine light missing?

Question... do any of you guys have a 90 240sx by any chance and know why the hell there is no check engine light?  I know its supposed to be to the most right side of the gas light under the gas gauge.  Mine is NOT there!

What tha hell .. was this year like this?  Or did someone
mess with mine before I go it!

you dont have one no sohc had one it was pre odb regulation iirc

you have to run the self diag. test to see what codes if any your car throws

Wow .. this sux.  How do I know when my O2 is bad ... and other little crapp-o problems!

I hate this , I get wait and guess when i smell da funk i know to change it huh lol.

The ECU does have a diagnostic mode, with the codes displayed with red and green lights on the ECU itself.
