Pretty nice meet. This is the first Northern California meet I went to, and it was pretty cool. 5 bucks for 2 hamboogers and a soda... not bad... I've got the shits now, but it will be solved in a little while.

Big wussups to Danio, the guy flipping burgers, Cali240sxdrifter, and the guy who said he liked my sticker.

damn, I should have stayed longer, then. Only reason I left was I got full from the burgers... and then I didn't really have anyone to talk to... first time going to a norcal meet. Plus that cop with the crossing-guard uniform seemed like he was planning something clever...

BTW... are you Junia? maybe under a different name now... or are u someone else?

Yea, I really didnt stay that long.. maybe an hour or so. I was the guy with the long-sleeve shirt with "Mike" on the nametag... sweating my ass off.

I didnt know it was still summer over here.. Back in LA, it's starting to get real cold.. like winter.

And yea.. I had to park waaay by the neighborhood because we ran out of parking spots at the park. So, I think only a couple of people saw my s14. Ahh well, there's always next time... like that meet next weekend. I think I might attend that.

Just got back to SoCal after the meet. Good meet, I wish I could have gotten there earlier so I could have met more people. Some really nice cars and good food.

Koto's making me do this. This meet would not have been possible without Koto. We thank you, Koto, for cooking for us and making us feel like our lives have meaning.

I also want to thank Koji for cooking for most of the later half of the meet, and everyone else who manned the grill also.

Thanks also go to Kevin, Matt, and Josh for helping to buy the food, Steven for bringing name tag stickers and extra soda (which we badly needed), Karsten for the mailing list which we used to inform people about the meet, and everyone else for various things and for showing up.

Okay we're definitely going to find a bigger parking lot for the next meet. =) Sooo many people had to park on the street, but it was fun watching a 240SX drive in and out of the parking lot every few minutes. We had about the same number of people show up for this meet as the last meet (Aug 11).

We came out to about $20 short of making the amount we spent for the BBQ. That's pretty close to breaking even and almost all the food was finished up. All the drinks were definitely finished up.

There was one S13 coupe that peeled out while leaving the parking lot. While that may be fun, please don't do that again at future meets because it could easily bring trouble for everyone. There are better times and places for that kind of stuff.

This meet wasn't perfect but I hope everyone had a good time. Let us know how the next meet can be improved. =)

damn....late again. this time it was worse than the 11th. haha i didnt really get to meet anyone, since i got there way too late, and the only people left were those i already knew, but hey, i still had fun. i really wish i coulda been there earlier, but i had family business to attend to . damn! well i hope to see more new people at the next meet, sorry, i wish i had shown up on time, but o well...next time i really will be on time! +/- 1 hour hehe.

i need a new paintjob cause if you saw where i parked(next to koto) he made me look bad hahaha. his paint is nice and shiny while mine is dull. i got some many chips on the front and all over the car. i just want my car to shine. notei take weird angle pics with weird lighting or no lighting

Thanks, Dan for setting the meet up! good turnout, but you can't really see all the cars that were there because of the small parking lot (i'm going to blame kevin for this one) other than that and the ribs being burnt (blaming matt and steven), this was a good meet. Dan, giv e me a call sometime this week about next saturday.

Yes it was me willie with the duct tape IC pipe. Hey, it works... heh. Money is going out tomorrow for a nice and new HKS type S FMIC. That should be fun.. Will be on before the next meet. If someone wants to check out evergreen community center. I think it is a good spot for a meet. The parking lot is about 3 times larger and they have pits. Or we can go to alum rock park and pay for parking, but they have a foul bee problem and they lack black squirrels. I cut out at two. Something fucked up my stomach.. heh.

Next mods you might see before the meet.

17in Rims and tires.
HKS or Rocket Exhaust..

Watup peeps! hah, the meet i think was a big hit. More people show'd up than the D&B meet in Aug i think. I got to talk to a bunch of other peeps at the meet which was really tight. Tons of S14's out there and i think like 5 or 6 nice RX7's. The only part i hate was that i left hella early. I wanted to stay until the last 240's were leaving but its all good. I got what i wanted out of this. Now all that is left to do is for me and Fodive to edit the video footage we took and make a video of it. Anyone else on here took video shots?BTW all the Licence Plate Numbers will be removed once the video is out. So don't worry about it (kevin) hah.

About the Ribs, its my fault..well really its FoDive cause he decied to put for coal for a big fire. And my fault for telling him to go across the street to see Mr.Migs car.

BTW Migs, love your car and the sticker too. HAH

Kevin, thanks for the picking the park... lol j/k it was good thou, and it was good for spreading the word on to other rx7 peeps, i love the Blue Rx7 and the 2 Red Rx7's that showed. And yours too

Dan, i guess you were right that everyone will be posting up that the parking lot was small. lol, but the meet turned out good. We need to start to plan a next meet.

Demented s14, would you reccomend going the steps you took to get your redtop in. just going to signal and let them do everything for how much you paid and waited. or buy the engine and find a place to do the install?

after seeing your car motivated me to seriously save and get a SR.

also how would you compare your car, being done by signal, to your brothers, done by motorex?

95Blue240sx names Lloyd by the way, as for the steps i went through i would definetly do it again if i had too! i dont regret anything about the swap and my decision to let someone do the swap for me.... i called alot of shops around here and down south, signal was definetly #1 on my list i called them up imediatley as soon as i found out that they were close by! honestly i kinda got frustrated when i kept callin to see if my car was done cause they told me it was gonna take a 2 weeks, it was kinda my fault cause i told them to take there time BIG MISTAKE!!! as for the price and time i would definetly recommend them if u have another back up car or etcc.. price was actually good!! he actually hooked me up cause he was so sorry that it took the amount of time that it did and kept apoligizing.... as for my car being done by signal and my bros being done by motorex i would definetly reccomend signal!!! while my bros car was being worked on by motorex i had a talk with the guy that hooked us up there and asked him about signal cause i told him they were the ones that were gonna do the swap and said (im cool with the owners and all but signal is kinda steep in price but they do EXCELLENT work)!! that in mind i felt very relieved cause usually other shops bag on each other and they actually told me to go to them if i had the money... im not to sure if u should by the motor and have someone install it cause if the motors bad they wont help u out if its jacked up... signal told me if i have any probs give him a call and said he will take care of me! funny thing is i still call them and bullshit around with them made new friends over there and it feels good to say that SIGNAL worked on my car!!! dont get me wrong motorex is a GREAT company but between the two i choose signal cause they were juss more experienced in that type of area..

im really glad that my car motivated u to save up for an sr... the sr made a BIG diffrence!!!

and daniel i would be honered to do that article!!!
