Im having a hard time with this exhaust . Sounds is awesome but resonator is just damn to big and it hits pretty much every single speed bump and car is not very low actually not low enough in the back . im going to lower the car more since i rolled my fenders today (just make it even with front).
Anyway im changing the resonator for the round it one(greddy is the big square one ) so pretty much cut it and replace it . i know is going to hurt the sound .
just looking for options or a suggestion on resonator's
exhaust is 3"
u can easily see the resonator there , that pic was take it before rolling the rear fenders . and u can see the gap . like that it was hitting speed bumps and others. and now that i rolled the fenders the gap is HUGE (im replacing those tires for 255/40/17 or 265/40/17 or if i can get 265/35/17 who make that tire?

Dude your car IS pretty low, not fuckin slammed, but still pretty low. Fuck it though, just lose the resonator and weld in a pipe.

you're still gonna scrape up the exhaust no matter what you do, imo. especially since you're planning to go lower.

but taking out the resonator will help b/c its probably the lowest part of his car and exhaust. how do you weld titanium?

Tie radiator clamps around the oem hangers and tighten them up.

That will raise your exhaust quite a bit.

Yeah find a way to tuck it closer to the car. Don't hack up a perfectly good exhaust. If you cant tuck it, sell it, and buy a different one.

Can you get a muffler shop to modify the mounts to tuck the piping up a little higher? Or just raise the car completely.

cut the strapp down hook off thats right above the muffler then use some thing to pull that thing up tighter to the chassis, you can proably get a 1 or so more clearance with that exhaust.

I used hose clamps to make my exhaust sit higher. It worked.

Just find places underneath your car to do that first.

Might save you a lot of money and headaches.

Cut a piece of the hangers out and weld them back on to gain a few inches.

if you're dead-set on cutting it out, you can slip a pipe over both ends that's slightly larger (e.g. 3" ID over 3" OD pipe). then you can hold it down with 2-step band clamps, or a standard crush clamp. no need to weld.
