I think B is in league of its own in this one.
D's a little too dark.

B looks ugly!! not the car, but the photo. The color tempeture is WAY off. The frameing is off. Your eye is drawn to the background and not the car. the quality of the image is also REALLY poor. cant imagine that beingon a calender.
C is a shot everybody has of there car. decent, but nothing great.
D is great in concept, but yes, the car is alittle to dark and things are off center. But at the same time still close to being centered.
A seems like the only answer to me. Great angle. Great lens size (because we dont need anymore wide angle car shots in the world) The trains blurred motion helps you feel the city, but keeps the background squewd so you eyes stay on the car.
IMO

A) Dark, Bland, and Unpainted
B) Good pic, looks like it's straight out of Super Street: the angle is very cliche, but the composure with the highway going over and merging in the center of the picture is very nice. Also white cars are good in pictures.
C) Bad composition, not inspired. I could take this picture right now if I walk outside to the parkinglot.
D) Too Dark

^ agreed!!!!
Photography incline people, can read below
B is not that great people!! Not to disrespect the photographer, but I have a feeling it was done on a little power shot, and never even made it through photoshop. Its grainy as all hell, because it was probably left to the camera to decide the ISO and F-stop.
The car is obviously under sodium vapor lights and the white balance wasn't corrected. Probably because it was set to AUTO Whitebalance, and the early dawn/evening sky was so blue it threw it off.
Thats why the car looks so green, and the rims look a discusting color.
And since the sky is SSOOOO blue, and all the other colors are muted by the sodium vapor lights, its too distracting.
I would suggest taking it through photoshop CS2. Bump the contrast a bit.(this will bring up the highlights and darken the darks, texture) Correct the white balance on the car.(so the car is white and the rims look better) Then bump the curve down a touch to darken the whole image.(it will richen the image) Take the sky, and reduce the saturation.(so the sky isnt so blue and overpowering) Then bump the saturation of the concrete areas.(so the sodium vapor shows more, giving it a real city feel)
take a look.
Bump the contrast in the cement areas a little more )to give it a little more texture.) Darken the whole picture using levels, but then slightly erase the area around the car that was darkened.(very subtely, so its not noticeable to eye). This will help draw your eyes to the car.
i don't have CS2 right now, it stayed on the X girl friends computer :( otherwise I would do it for ya!!
hope this helps some of you improve your shots.

This is all I could do with the cheesy program that comes with the Canon Power shot. Figured at this point I better do more than run my mouth.

no disrespect intended to the photographer.
And alot of you may not like the crop, but I prefer it a little more centered feeling.

I like B, but tinker with the color balance and saturation and it'll look loads better.
What i came up with. I think its a bit more crisp and cool. But its just me.

I took B, if you guys who are "better at CS2" want to give it a crack PM me and I'll send you the original. That picture was a bitch and a half to get the colors even that good. Here it is in an less-compressed form:
http://i25.photobucket.com/albums/c51/95KA-Turbo/10-19-075-1.jpg
Obviously if it makes it to a be cover material I can redo the original and make it look better color wise. I did a whole shoot that night and was editing them enough to make the color go from orange to white on the car. Also it was midnight in the shoot, I'm not really sure why the sky ended up being so blue (Canon Rebel XT with a 10-17 Tokina fish eye).
