i have a question... here it goes. im in the process of removing my rear bumper bc the fact that it sags like a 65yr old grandma. so far i already unscrewed the three bolts on the left and right side quarter panels, and the license plate lamp. there is nothing holding on to the bumper reinforcement. it should come off, right? nope wrong!!! the damn thing still wont budge, WTF!! i know that this topic has been up b4, but this is sumthing that has me stumped. i reread the other post but it doesnt give me enough detail on wat else i need to do to remove the bumper. need sum help pls
-thanks in advance

Right nex to your spare on both side there are 2 rubber gromets on each side remove those and there are 2 12mm bolts remove those. Aslo there are 2 more bolt that are under your exhaust hanger remove those and it will slide out.

S13s also have a nice big M10 bolt right above the exhaust tip. No one ever sees it.

Is yours sagging under the tail lights? So theres no fix for this other than getting another bumper? :(

Mine is doing the same...

i must say, nissan didnt want the bumper covers on these cars to come off. i could have my civic front bumper off in 2 minutes. it was just 2 bolts and 2 push pin fastener things.

No. Get on the ground and look straight up. Now remove it.

Just take out every screw yo can find, that's the hardest part of installing Aero, is taking off all 345,689 bolts on the oem parts

Look at the diagram you posted and look for bolts at those locations. Removing the bumper support involves removing a few more bolts than what is needed to remove the rear bumper.

the diagram is perfect. Look carefully...

I sell kits all day, and well, no offense, that diagram should be enough. After all those screws are off, a good tug, and presto!

coupe or hatch, that diagram is pretty much all you need to know to figure out where any screw might be.

On my fastback, all that was needed was to remove the 3 bolts on each from inside the quarter panel. Then pull off the rubber grommet on the trunk panel and unbolt 1 14mm bolt on each side.

Unclip the license plate light wires. I made a connector for easy removal.

Then the whole bumper support and bumper slides out the back. When you have the whole thing out you can see how the bumper cover is attached.

It only took about 5 minutes the first time I did it. The hardest thing was getting those 3 bolts from inside the quarter.

All my 240's except my first hatch I ever had all were using different bolts, gets annoying.

I've never seen gap issues unless the car has been hit. You can realign it easily by just playing with the mounting a little.
