1. Did you test fit it before you had it painted?

2. Did you have it painted on or off the car?

3. How was the fillement of the bumper and how much work did you have to do to make it fit.

4. What bumper and what company made your bumper?

Basicly I need a new front bumper really bad. Mine is sooo fucked up. But I can't have down time my car becuase it's my daily driver so what I'm trying to do is get the same one have it painted off the car and then slapped on but with the bad vis fillament I'm unsure if that can happen.

I used to have the same bumper you have (skyline style from vis). The fit sucks! Cost more money to fit it. Anyway, here we go.
1. No
2. Off the car
3. Fitted better than stock
4. cwest bumper

I don't have an aftermarket bumper (yet) but I think the GP Sports "Type-R" front bumper would like nice with your sides and spoiler. But its far more durable compared to VIS, so you don't have to freak out with every scrap. Wait.... ....yes you can, because that bumper is $500+ dollars.

For any aftermarket bumper, you should ALWAYS test fit it first before painting. Because after it's painted, it's yours whether it fits or not. I'm pretty sure you have to get it painted off of the car. I don't know of any body shops that would paint a bumper on a car...that's straight ghetto.

Hey Notorious...did you get your CWest bumper from Shawn at Autoimaging? I was thinking of going with either a CWest or GP Sports rear bumper, but I was wondering how much they cost to ship here...I'm just lazy and haven't looked around on Shawn's site much lately...hehe

Yes, I got the whole kit from Shawn at autoimaging.com. Everything came out to 1300 shipped but it took like 3 months to get to me because the rear bumper and side skirts were out of stock at Motorex.
