I have a 1990 240sx I need to patch up. long story short gravel hit the gas tank puncturing it, so I replaced the gas tank but while I was at it I was going to put a walbro pump in so I removed the fuel rail to install a nismo fpr. However, I realized after starting that the frame rail was bent so I went out and bought another 240 for the sr project.
3 questions:
1. anyone have any pics of the fuel rail on a ka24e right where it hooks up because I cannot figure out how to get the line's back on
2. One of the bolts that connect the rail snapped (it got stuck halfway down), I tried drilling it out to no luck, I'm going to keep trying to drill it out though if I can and I got a new bolt from nissan. Will JB weld hold it down well enough to make it stable? It would then be impossible to ever remove the rail right? If I do get the bolt drilled out would a tap work to fix the threads which caused the original bolt to break?
3. There is a metal/rubber fuel line that was messed up - is it ok to replace this line with this just a rubber line or do pepboys or advanced auto or something carry the metal line I'm talking about (from the fpr to something towards the fender)
Thanks in advance for all your help.
