sr tranny!!

hey guys!!! iv been searching for a different sr tranny cuz my second gear syncro is destroyed and can barely upshift and is almost impossible to down shift without grinding. so does anyone know where to get a good tranny for around 400 dollars?? thx

take out the the bell housing of the SR tranny. find a KA tranny and swap it with the SR bell housing and wolllaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!!!!! works with SR

saves you cash or you can try to find someone on here that has a extra SR tranny laying around on the WTB section thread.

k but iv heard about that and dont you need some seals or somethin or is it really just unbolt and bolt on?? cuz i have the ka tranny from when i did the swap and it doesnt grind..

its just the bell housings. its pretty simple to do. 2 large c clips around the main shaft, the 5-6 bolts on the cover inside the bell housing, and then the bolts around the center plate (where the bell housing and rear casing meet.) then just slowly tap it out, and RTV the sr bell housing on the ka's center section.
