View Full Version : bouncey/rear end movement when accelerating around a corner...? noise when braking?

My s14 kinda hesitates and bounces and makes the rear end/subframe kinda move when going around corners. The rear end literally feels like its going to rip itself off the chassis... and it gets pretty bouncey at times.
Ive never had so many mods on a car before.... Is this normal?
I have kts coilovers (6 clicks front 7 rear), 2 way cusco diff w/ s13 case, spl tie rods, all poly bushings, nismo tension bushings, and some adjustable arms in the rear.
I also have 300zx brakes and it makes a rotating clicking/clunking kinda sound from the front drivers side wheel only. It only makes the sound when I brake hard. I re-tightened everything and it still makes the noise. Also tightened the top nuts on the coilovers.
Any ideas?

goodness, you have mounts or anything for support on the subframe? Usually it will feel very loose especially on the S14 because of worn out bushings.

are you serious? you're a danger to yourself and anyone within 500 feet of you when that car is running. you've performed minimal (at best) modifications and its becoming an issue? stay away from anything that would require you to disconnect the battery man it would be a shame if you caught fire
