After driving my 91 Fastback for 3 hours for the first time, I noticed a few things.
1. The seats suck
2. I hid the speed limiter really easily
3. There is alot of road noise. I know my tires are shot, but I can hear alot of stuff outside. I get the wind noise too, but I think most cars do that at high speeds.
Is it a lack of sound deadening or what? Maybe it's just cause it's a light weight car?
Coupled with the squeaks, and the lovely engine noises, it's pretty annoying. I had to crank the stereo.

1. Get some s14 seats
2. Get an aftermarket ECU
3. Dynomat the doors, floor, and rear 1/4 panels
You'll like your car a lot more...................

1. I kinda like the s13 seats but I guess you could go to s14 seats for more comfort.
2. Don't know never reached it.
3. Yea I do get a lot of road noise in my car but that's probably because of my tires also.

I've got a lot of road noise...with sound deadening scraped, no back seats, no carpet in trunk...its pretty loud actually.

I've got a S14 and the road noise is loud, but these cars were not built to be quiet. I plan to dynamat soon, but until then turning up the volume does the trick <img src="http://www.zilvia.net/f/iB_html/non-cgi/emoticons/smile.gif" border="0" valign="absmiddle" alt=':)'>
I used to have a S13 and the seats DO suck bad for long trips.
The S14 (especially leather) are great for long hauls. I drive 40 minutes each way to work and never feel bad after its over.
