ok check this out..

i bought 30mm spacers from oczilvia last may.

i picked spacers up from his work (focus auto sales (http://www.zilvia.net/f/showthread.php?t=164596#))

i got new set of wheels early june and i went to local

mechanic shop and i had them install the spacers.

they told me spacers "dont fit" for the wheels.

what happen was spacer was 5x114.3 to 5x100 conversion spacers

which really rare.

oczilvia told me he took them off from his R34 and never told me about

wheel has to me 5x100 bolt pattern.


so i called his work since i didnt know his cell # his work was only #

i knew.

he never at work when i called left a message everytime i called

never called back.

today finally i talked to him and he denys to pay me back.

never used spacers and it is not like any other parts that gets lower value

after use.

he misdiscribe his product he sold and never mentioned about

conversion bolt pattern.

i will try to talked to him again however

if he still denys to give my money back

i am willing to take this matter to small claim .

i paid him with my personal check and noted about 4 spacers.

hope he takes care of this before it gets more difficult.

I had it on my R34 Skyline with Volks. That's why I listed as a set of 5x114.3, 35mm spacers. Its used and I sold it for a reasonable price of $75 for the set of spacers with nuts and bolts. I have nothing to gain over $75 when we've been in business since 1997.

You inspected the spacer when you picked it up in person back in June. This is the first time talking to you about the spacers, which is about 5 months later. So to recap, you inspected the spacers when you picked it up and you had 5 months to inspect the spacers. Not sure what you want me to do on a used part that you inspected during pick up and 5 months after the sale

isnt it resonable to ask money back for his misdiscription?

Hrmmm. In small claims court I dono if it would work out for you since it says 4 spacers. But its not very discriptive. 5 months is a really long time to come back and return something. But like he said its only a $75 part and he has been around since 1997 so shouldnt pleasing customers be number 1? If I were him I would just get you another set of spacers or money or try and work something out. I havent been to this place or purchsed anything from them so I cant speak on how they do buisness but I have seen another situation with this same company and the guy responded and he seems pretty fair about the whole thing.

small claims court is a waste for $75. it is kinda dickheaded of him to not refund your money when what he sold you was lug adapters and not spacers, but 5 months is a long time too. I'd just try to sell them, you might be able to sell them for more than you paid.

then forget about this situation... its been too long, you should've tried it right after buying it...

I got headache from trying to read all that blabber.

As for taking him to court, the court fees and the personal time just isn't worth it.

usually with any sort of buisness deal, 30 days is all you have to return something. 5 months and wanting a refund is a little too much time.
You are better off trying to sell them, you will either sell them or have to take the hit and learn a lesson. sorry bud.
