sohc auto to dohc manual harness question

I have already been searching for an hour and still didnt find anything useful, I was wondering if I can still use my chassis and lower harness from my sohc auto s13 and just get away with using the engine harness from the dohc. I already wired up the body harness connectors to my main engine harness and I know I will have to hardwire the reverse light if I use the auto lower harness, but Im just stuck on which route Im going to take. I have a dohc lower harness and chassis harness, but I dont feel like rewiring the whole car. Someone give me some input.

Using a DOHC engine and lower transmission harness will not work with a SOHC. Your best route is to use the SOHC auto chassis and transmission harness with your SOHC engine harness.

Yeah I know that, I am swaping in a dohc thats why I need the dohc engine harness. I need to know if the auto sohc lower harness and chassis harness will work with the dohc and 5 speed Im swaping in. I have to use the dohc main engine harness.

it will work...i did it on my friends car and everything works fine.
