I painted most of my interior this week but I couldnt get the vents off my s13. I did it before but couldnt seem to get these ones off. Is there any trick to getting them off? On my old s13 the center vent was the one I could never get off.

Here are some pics.

PS: Updated pics of my car are below by clicking on my name of the sig.

This is something even I will need to look at. Really want to do something with the inside. starting to look totally boring to me. Other thing is I want to get the S14 front seats. definately much more comfortable then the S13.

I took out my instrument cluster and glove box to get to the clips on either side of the center vent and popped it right out. I haven't got to the side vents yet but I'm going to try getting to the clips from inside the vent...... Once you get the center vent out to paint, I would recommend removing the "louvers" and just paint the bezel because you'll never get the louvers prepped well enough and more that likely the paint will glue the louvers together and flake off when you try to move them.
