Reading FreshAlloy, I came across those spin turn knobs again.
I remember them from over a year ago, but I've forgotten about them. What do they do?

It replaces the release button on the handbrake. When a "spin-turn knob" is pushed in, it stays in, so that the handbrake can be pulled up and down freely (no ratcheting). You can then pull it back out to park the car.

Ah, so this is for very quick actuation of the e-brake. Useful for brake drifts, I assume.
