Got a question for you more expierenced widebody people.
I didnt find the anwser after searching for quite a bit.
Im in the market for some 50mm rear over fenders. However I was recently told that they overfenders do not go all the way down to the bottom of the quarter panel.
I currently have Zenki Navan side skirts, I was wondering if any of you knew whether the overfenders went far enough down the quarterpanel to match up decently with my sideskirts now.
I dont want to run fiber glass sideskirts for the reason that if you went off track as much as I do they wouldnt last long.
Also any preferene between Origin / Version select / Chargespeed

Hmm not sure. I think it might look weird with the Navan sideskirts tho
http://www.origin-lab.com/index.php?section=fender⊂=S14 (http://www.origin-lab.com/index.php?section=fender&sub=S14) Those are the origin overfenders. Im not sure as to how low they go maybe form the pictue you can get an idea

You would probably have between an 1-2 inches between the the bottom of the rear over fenders and top of the navan side skirts.
you can see how much space in this build thread.

all depends on the over fender first off.. because ALL of them fit different.. as above i think Charge speed go down the furthest.

u also can't tell at the bottom because both ends are being covered with sides and rear aero. looks like that guy molded his tho as there are zero rivits visible anywhere

I have experience with the origins and chargespeeds... they both go down quite far. Origin over fenders overlapped the top of the rear sideskirts by 2 inches...

well I ended up getting origin fronts and rears. The rears go down quite far, I'll post pictures later. There are other issues as far as fitment of the sides is concerned which I'll address with the pics.
As far as quality is concerned the rears are good very little work to fit them.
Now as far as the fronts are concerned nothing short of horrific, took me all day to get them to fit close. They are on very tight and the gel coat already has spider web cracks from how tight they are.
What do you guys recomend for the spider webbing ?

I don't think it's moulded.
I was reading the buildup on ZT, and I seem to recall him saying it's not moulded, but wraps around further than any other over fender.

stew's rear chargespeed over's are not molded...
he specifically used 6 black rivets... I think 4 of them is hidden behind the side skirts and rear bumper, and i believe the other 2 is near the quarter glass

chargespeed overfenders are the best. they have the most coverage and are still rivet but not as many. i was quoted 500 for the pair shipped from 3 different places when i was in the market
the red car has chargespeed overs just with rivits. not molded.
if you went with an origin/V:S/etc. im pretty sure the lines of the overfenders will be visible above the skirt, meaning not full coverage overfender, but i dunno

now you can see the fitment issues in the rear with the valences and the sideskirt. The rear valence I can trim and makeit look good. The front by the side skirt is another story.
Any thoughts?
