Hey guys I want my motor to be black for sleeper-ish purposes and the bright ruby red valve cover is killing it. It looks great but it looks a little too great in my opinion haha. Someone told me that you could directly swap them so im assuming you can and would like to trade my red one for a black one. Please post up a pic of your head because I dont want prefer a clean one.
Also my redtop is for sale just throw a price out there and if nobody wants to trade then its sold.
Here is a pic of mine....mind you I just dusted it off so its still kinda dirty haha
and it has 1 small scratch which you can see in the pic
EDIT: This is for an S13 sry forgot to include that

why don't you just spray paint it black?

because I think it will look cheesy with uneven spray paint all over it. I dont want it to look ghetto rigged haha. + I was hoping someone that lives in socal wants a pretty ruby red valve cover thingy and I like to occasionally help my fellow zilvians haha

I have a blacktop valve cover that had scratches on it. Spray paint and clearcoat made it look oem fresh.
+1 for painting it

Just powdercoat your stock one.
Or you could strip it.
If a cop ever pops your hood, it will attract less attention.

I agree with getting it powdercoating. Unless the person is local, there is no point in trading. Im sure you are going to end up paying shipping both ways. I estimate 15 dollars to ship each valve cover. For just a little more you can have a clean black powdercoated that looks ten times better.
