Lol, idk about whether the fact of just blowing a lot of $$$ and effort alone should merit admiration. if anything, it makes things even worse if the end product is junk. What's better, the riced-out pos car with $500 worth of stickers, cheap aero, and APC parts, or a likewise riced-out pos car with $5,000+ invested in bodywork/fab etc.? At least the more economical ricer wasted less time and $$$.

Honesty a stock civic is great for daily driver and I think they can look very clean. I think they just get a bad rep since they got so popular and arent that expensive so all the young stupid teenagers can buy em. Then they just got way popular and blew up. I remeber when I had my civic I used to drive from Chino Hills to Irvine to go train and it save me so much gas. Now I dd my sc300 and uhh 91 octane and 6 cylinders isnt anywhere near the mpg haha. So I mean civics are cool for dd but This civic/sti/wtf/omgz/wtf thing took it way to far hhaha

yah it is quite interesting. they're using vette chassis and motor, but the the exterior is fabricated such that they can throw on the civic body exterior. impressive that the end result it worked so well, at least visually. you would never suspect that its not a civic. whether or not you like it depends on your perspective. its cool only if you look at it as the ultimate sleeper (takes the concept to the extreme), but a total waste of $$$ and somewhat pointless otherwise.

Still ,this is def not in the same league as the horrid Sti/civic. thats an undeniable insult to civic and sti owners alike.

I think he tried to hard to save his car from spinning and just made things worse. seems like a total amaturish mistake on a track.

saw that video and was wondering how the hell it was wrecked. it just spun out and didnt roll. the worst Id imagine is maybe messed up alignment and suspension. I had something similar happen to me a few years ago (spun, wheels hit the apex curb hard). Ended up bending 2 wheels and replacing a few suspension arms but nothing too serious.

like the VW W12 GTI , it handled like a complete pile of shit and VW even built it, in germany with real engineers and teams of R and D and wizardry.

and it totally failed

BIG heavy engine, short wheel base, too much torque, rwd= usually equalls fail especially for drifting, its huge oversteer all day and then just smoke.

the car wants to kill you, and for good reason.
