I wanted a black dash but they only had brown, i was gonna use this temporarily but now i think of it, i dont want to deal with the hassle of taking it out again later. so its up for sale!
brown rhd dash is pretty rare, first time i've ever seen one :duh:

theres 1 small nick on top of the driver side which isnt very noticeable and an indent next to it but im sure that will go away over time. the dash is a little dusty, i just got it yesterday and i didnt have time to clean it up.

Price is $150

why not get some dye (very inexpensive) and dye it black, then you might actually find a buyer, OR even better, use it yourself.

I second that. Take a look at this thread (http://classiczcars.com/forums/showthread.php?t=23919)for a full walk through. (you have to register to see the pics, but it's well worth it)

I rather not paint it... ive done it before with my old dashboard, it look good for a few months before it started peeling even with all the prep work i did to it and the texture doesnt look like the original leather. plus someone out there might want a brown dash to match their brown interior :) thanks for the advices tho

You can't dye plastic dashes to the best of my knowledge. What they call dye is actually paint. It will sctatch off.

i used vinyl spray paint and it still peeled. :o

People that have chips, this is because you do not know what you are doing, dye's are different from paints, never buy dye that is in a spray can, the stuff that should be used is sprayed thru a paint gun.


I've dyed complete interiors, more often airbags,


they never crack, peel, or chip, you have to prep and clean the surface correctly, not hard. One air bag has been on a car of mine for 2 years now, daily driven.
