i searched all over the net including zilvia and always got settings and help for t28 turbo and not for stock t25... ive been fiddling around with the boost controller and nothing... ive tried different setting and playing around and i cant get the psi i want or the consistency... it always spikes...

im looking for 10psi low and 13psi high keep the boost at least to 7000psi if it drops after that well it doesnt matter i never go to redline...

my mods are
stock t25 turbo
stock 370cc injectors
front mount intercooler
full 3 inch straight exhaust starting after the turbo elbow

ive connected the way everybody tells me to... and just in case i did remove the little plastic cover from the hole that isnt used in the EBC...

heres the setting im running on low right now and its spiking 13.2psi

set 35
gain 23
set gain 8

im not trying to get like setting from other people i know its car specific but at least a little help from anyone?

im reading everything in psi... right now i have in low setting

set gain 8
gain 23
boost (im guessing by this you mean the SET??) 35
warning 11psi
warning 8psi (not sure but i think that what i have have to check)

high setting (never tried them someone just told me they hit 12psi with it but since that 10 psi setting spikes to 13.2 never tried it yet)

set gain 9
gain 23
boost 42% (psi)
warning 13psi
warning 9(still guessing i didnt write them down but it should be this or take or give 1 only)

Firstly, yes you did not search enough, because people PM me all the time about settings. Firstly, search harder cause I did make a very long post about profecs. 2 Reasons why turbos spike, gain is too high, or start boost is too high. Start boost is about 2.5 under the set boost and gain you will just need to play around with it, but should be around 22 for high and 15 for low, based on the desired boost. Gain is a hit and miss... Goo Luck

i searched and i found a bunch of post and read all of them carefully and so i started playing around with the gain and to put an example... if i put in 10% gain it would spike to 12psi and if i put 9% it would would hit the 10psi at a really high rpm... its like it not balanced its either really low or really high that the problem im really having that why i decided to ask maybe someone knew something about having them with the t25 wastegate or something... no matter how much i read and get new ideas it never seems to work how i want it... and the area i live they isnt anyone who really knows how to tune either sr20dets or profec b so ive had to learn to do everything by myself so taking it to someone to tune isnt an option...

wouldnt the gain be the same in low and high settings? and the set be the one that changes? cause i understanded the gain was how fast the boost you put in the SET would spool... and if it was too fast it would spike and too low it would loose psi at high rpm... so wouldnt the speed of spooling withought spiking be the same no matter what psi i set?

Well, yah I guess Puerto Rico is pretty tough. I had a a T25 with a Profec E-01 and it worked out fine. Dude did you read the 2nd reason why boost spike occurs? How about start boost? Your start boost is probably too high. The start boost must be set at 2.5 lower than your lowest setting. So your lowest setting is 10 psi, so your start boost remains the same for both boost levels, with that said, your start boost should be at 7.5 psi. Don't mess with your gain until you have the right start boost level. Try that.

i didnt know that i thought start boost was different for each setting like 2.5 lower than the 10psi for low setting and 2.5 lower than the 12psi... im gonna try that...

wait i forgot something... the low setting is the one thats spiking i havent tried the high one... does that matter at all about what your saying me to do?

yah, it does.... but tune one at a time. Low then high and do it slowly good luck

i wish i had a e-01 ive read its so easier with the graph it makes to know when it spikes and all that...

but from your idea do the numbers i got for the SET are they ok the 35 for 10psi and the 42 for 12psi?

the gain well ill try to check the numbers you told me since i thought they would be the same for both (i understanded that high and low was the same in the gain cause the wastegate reacted the same for both boost levels and it would not spike even if it was a low in the set area... and for the set gain well ill get it fixed and try that...

thanx

Actually the E01 is harer, but that sounds about right for the set. I think its called set boost. The gains are definitely different for high low settings, the start boost is the same. Remember start boost is 2.5 lower than your lower boost levels cause that is measured in PSI. Gains are different between high low settings. Don't forget to repme hahaha

also be sure to remove the white plug within the port that is not being used.

NC not used for actuator type
NO not used for external type

having the white plug there can also be a cause for spike

yup, thats installed correctly as i stated i the first post
that was the first thing i checked but i already tried the things slider2828 told me and it worked out great just need a bit tweaking in the high setting but everything is now working...
