Oh yeah, look at the bottom to see the nissan engine specials. Only thing i can think of is by + shipping they mean you pay for it to be shipped from japan, but they say their in stock

$1800 for an RB25, FRONT CLIP!!!! , that is very cheap, shipping must be like a lot, hopefully someone has gotten something from them, if anyone lives in Sacramento, you wanna go and pay them a visit and see if they have the engines there. I am going to e-mail them and see what the deal is.

ca18guy -

I have sent several emails to venus auto with no repsonse. I don't know if they are slacking on customer repsonse or have bad communication skills.

So far they don't seem much help. Also they dont have prices on current stock!

~who knows~

they are for real, that's the place SCC got their stuff from. I've emailed them right after SCC did their article...don't remember prices, they used to have prices....I'm going to email them again...

Your best bet is probably to call them, if e-mails aren't coming back.

Their prices are low because they were the actual importer of the engines. Most places supplying engines are smaller shops that buy their engines from Venus or other sources and then add their own markup. Venus also provides basically no support and no warranty, just a start-up guarantee.

honestly i called them once and they were kinda rude... then again they could have been busy. anyways they are up in sac. plan to go check them out one day. see if they are any good. Also notice that those are the specials... they do sell other motors, for all we know the specials are the ones they couldn't sell normally so they dropped the price to pass them off. just cause they are cheap doesn't make them a good deal.

All I've heard is that these guys don't like to deal with customers on a 1-on-1 basis, they mainly sell wholesale to shops, who then pass the clips/engines on to you and I.
I can understand why they wouldn't want to deal with individuals buying motors, there are a lot of us who're asses and aren't serious about buying motors, just poking our heads around out of curiosity and having nothing better to do.

that said, I don't think these guys would take you (an individual -- as long as you don't represent a shop willing to buy 12 clips) seriously until you showed them the cash and your empty engine bay.

That doesn't make these guys unreputable or "bad" per se, as they don't cater to individuals' 'needs'.

Makes sense since they don't want to deal with the problems that dealing with individuals would bring. Oh well I have no plans of buying an engine, just wanted to see if they were real.
