Yea I know to RTV it where the FSM tells you to, but I was specifically trying to find someone that has done it with success meaning not a leak at all by either reinstalling the covers without RTV'ing the HG arear or with RTV the HG area. Did any of you guys that replied back do this to yours (rtv'ing the HG )

I do that on every chain job I do. RTV is fine to sandwich the head gasket. Without you're guaranteed a leak.

People wouldn't be replying to do if they never had done so.

Yea mines not bent at all I guess i'll just degrease everything really good and try and squeeze some also into the top area where the HG seats under the ledge of the head, im doing it to my KA24DE it appeared that a previous owner had the cam cover removed before becasue there weren't hints of 2 different colors of RTV used (some one did a quicky half ass job and it seemed to leak just a little).
